These are the questions I'm curious to answer as I go back to re-listen to everything in my playlist. I came upon this idea when I had to transfer all my music from my old hard drive to my new one, which consequently, reset all my play counts in iTunes. So I no longer had any sense of what I'd listened to most so far. So now I wonder if there's music I have in my library that I don't even care about or wouldn't even notice if it was gone. Probably, but I'll never know unless I go and find it.
And along the way, of course, there will be new music, new experiences and new stuff that shows up to distract me from my goal (or at least extend it). But it's really more about how you get there than it is about the end goal....Right? And along the way, I'm hoping I'll be (re)struck by some new insights and a new appreciation of what music brings to life.
